Meet our Principal

Hello and welcome to Summit Cove Elementary!
My name is Julie Johnson, and I am delighted to serve as the Principal at  Summit Cove Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to serve this remarkable school and wonderful community. Beginning my career as an elementary educator over 20 years ago, I am thrilled to partner with families, teachers, and community members in bringing learning to life and keeping the curiosity we are all born with alive and thriving for our preschool through 5th-grade students.

I’m passionate about creating relevant, joyful learning experiences for each student. My goal is that every Summit Cove student is excited to learn every day. Each child deserves to know they matter, are seen, heard, and are valued members
of our school community.

As an International Baccalaureate STEM and Innovation school, we are committed to developing the skills most needed
for success in life in all of our instructional settings. These skills include critical thinking, communication, and global citizenship, among many more. The IB Learner Attributes combined with the Summit School District Graduate Profile skills,
our students are set for success in elementary school and beyond.
